PRIMARY SCHOOL COLOURING COMPETITION

Holding the coloring competition for primary school students enable them to express their creativity and passion for science via coloring and drawing on the given sheet. Participants can think about all the journeys in our life to bring out our theme of the year, which is ’Journey’. Participants should submit their work on or before 25 June 2019. The outstanding works would be given prizes or gifts and be presented in the Joint School Science Exhibition held on August 2019. JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL ACTIVITY

The 52nd J.S.S.E.P.C. proudly presents our Junior Secondary School Activity. Participants will learn more about the magic behind science through a series of games. Through cooperation, participants can develop friendship with each other. Join us for this meaningful event! 🦠🧬🔥

The details of the activity are as follows:
Date: 4 May 2019
Time: 12:00-18:00*^
Venue: St. Joseph’s College
Eligibility: S.1-S.3 students
Entry fee: $60 HKD per person (Including materials and insurance)

*There will be 3 time slots for selection; each in 2 hours
^Participants are highly encouraged to arrive the venue 15 minutes before the official start of the event.

PROJECT HOLDERS' SEMINAR

The Project Holders’ Seminar was successfully held on 27 January 2019 in the University of Hong Kong. During the seminar, the J.S.S.E.P.C. and J.S.S.E. were introduced to the Project Holders from different participating schools. Details of the Proposal Competition such as regulations, marking criteria as well as guidance on the preparation work were also announced.

ALUMNI GATHERING

The Alumni Gathering was successfully held on 16 February 2019. In the gathering, the bonding between the alumni and the members of the 52nd J.S.S.E.P.C. has been further developed.

1ST GENERAL MEETING

The 1st General Meeting was held on 17 November 2018 at the University of Hong Kong. The year theme and theme colour were introduced to all Preparation Committee members, who also voted for the logo, Chinese and English slogan. The four departments were successfully formed during the General Meeting as well.

FORMATION OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS

After 5 days of election, the Executive Committee of the 52nd Joint School Science Exhibition Preparation Committee (hereinafter the J.S.S.E.P.C.) was formed.
