The 52nd Joint School Science Exhibition may help you conquer difficulties you encounter in your journeys 🧳🛤and evokes your curiosity to enjoy, explore and probe into sciences! With science being a study to take observations🔬 and actions, what are you waiting for? Come and experience all the remarkable innovations and mind provoking experiments!💡

Venue: Exhibition Gallery, Hong Kong Central Library

In the Exhibition, not only will there be creative exhibits compromising science and daily lives, there will also be interactive and fun programmes, like the Science Theatre and Parent-child Science Workshop. There will also be exciting and interesting game booth (and the “Kidsbond”!) suitable for all ages, 👧🏻👦🏼👨🏻👨🏻🦳that will certainly aids you in your journey to sciences! Remember not to miss them out!

PRIMARY SCHOOL SCIENCE WORKSHOP
👩🏻🔬👨🏻🔬Primary School Science Workshop🕵🏻♀🕵🏻♂ “Science is the process that takes us from confusion to understanding” ― Brian Greene✨
With the theme set as Crime Scene, you, detectives, are in charge of investigating the truth behind the curtain. There would be stipulations of different crime scenes and forensic investigations will be carried out through the gathering and analysis of all crime-related physical evidence. Participants will look at blood samples, fingerprints, papers, or any other “evidence” from the crime scenes to come to a conclusion about a suspect.🐾🙊

PRIMARY SCHOOL COLOURING COMPETITION
Holding the coloring competition for primary school students enables them to express their creativity and passion for science via coloring and drawing on the given sheet. Participants can think about all the journeys in our lives to bring out our theme of the year, which is ’Journey’. Participants should submit their work on or before 25 June 2019. The outstanding works would be given prizes or gifts and presented in the Joint School Science Exhibition held in August 2019. PROJECT HOLDERS' SEMINAR
The Project Holders’ Seminar was successfully held on 27 January 2019 in the University of Hong Kong. During the seminar, the J.S.S.E.P.C. and J.S.S.E. were introduced to the Project Holders from different participating schools. Details of the Proposal Competition such as regulations, marking criteria as well as guidance on the preparation work were also announced.
ALUMNI GATHERING
The Alumni Gathering was successfully held on 16 February 2019. In the gathering, the bonding between the alumni and the members of the 52nd J.S.S.E.P.C. has been further developed.

1ST GENERAL MEETING
The 1st General Meeting was held on 17 November 2018 at the University of Hong Kong. The year theme and theme colour were introduced to all Preparation Committee members, who also voted for the logo, Chinese and English slogan. The four departments were successfully formed during the General Meeting as well.
